Serving what matters most: Tipmont’s 2026 Annual Meeting

Every September, we hold our Tipmont Annual Meeting. This year, we’re forgoing an in-person gathering in favor of four drive-thru locations across our service territory.

Given that the drive-thru method is the overwhelming choice of Annual Meeting attendees, we’ve expanded that option to better serve more of you. (Learn more about the meeting and this year’s District 4 director candidates at the Annual Meeting website.)

It’s also a time when we think back on 2025 highlights to share for the annual report you’ll receive at the Annual Meeting. That means we’re going back as much as 20 months. Frankly, Tipmont looks a lot different even in August 2026 than it did in January 2025. What remains the same is our perspective that Tipmont should be more than a standard utility.

Some utilities do what you expect they’ll do and call it a day. But at Tipmont, that’s just the beginning. We’re not just an electric and fiber broadband utility. We’re a trusted partner that always looks out for the best interests of the co-op’s owners, and that’s you.

That means bringing control of your power supply in-house as we did in 2025. Or, building leading-edge fiber-optic broadband in half the originally promised time. And then there are the things we do every year:

  • Innovative tools to give you options and flexibility
  • Safe and swift responses to restore your service amid an outage
  • Concerted efforts to improve communities where you live and work

The bottom line by which we measure our work is also unchanged — your trust and satisfaction.

In 2025, Tipmont hit a new all-time high of 89 on the American Consumer Satisfaction Index score, letting us know once again that you feel like we’re doing things well.

When we talk about serving what matters most, it all boils down to you. That’s what we’re celebrating at this month’s Annual Meeting, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our four drive-thru locations.
