Celebrating a streak of your satisfaction

As 2024 nears its end, I hope all of you will have time to rest and rejuvenate during the holiday season, and to reflect on your important accomplishments and achievements over the past year.

Among high points for our Tipmont team were completing our residential fiber build several years earlier than originally anticipated, welcoming a number of new cooperative members, and continuing to fight for you to manage your costs and maintain high satisfaction.

To that last point, I’m especially proud that Tipmont maintained its all-time high score of 87 on the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) for 12 straight months. Tipmont answers only to its members, so our ACSI score measures your satisfaction as our benchmark for success. The consistently high score you gave us says you’re happy with the security, comfort, and convenience our essential services provide.

Our quarterly surveys also measure your trust in Tipmont. For the past two years, we have scored at or near 9 out of 10. Tipmont works to earn your trust with innovation, respect, and public service heart, and we’re honored and inspired by your recognition that Tipmont acts in your best interests.

We also measure gaps between performance and importance — meaning how close Tipmont comes to meeting your expectations in key areas. The three most important areas to you are reliable service, restoration of service after an outage, and knowledgeable employees. I’m pleased to say our performance gaps in those areas are small, but there’s always room for improvement. It’s why we regularly improve infrastructure to serve you, like burying lines where possible, upgrading substations, and increasing vegetation management.

On behalf of everyone at Tipmont, I’d like to thank you for expressing your satisfaction with our work and placing trust in us to serve your best interests — a trust we never take lightly and that we’re honored to earn every day.

Finally, as we enter into the winter season, Tipmont also wants to remind those who may struggle with their bills at any time of area resources for financial assistance. Visit tipmont.com/energyassistance for a list of local resources.
