2026 Annual Meeting recap

Thanks to those of you who joined us last month to participate in the 2026 Annual Meeting!

We enjoyed seeing you at our drive-thrus at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds, Tipmont offices in Linden and Battle Ground, and the Fountain County Fairgrounds in Veedersburg.

All told, we welcomed more than 1,400 members across all locations — each receiving a copy of the 2025 Annual Report and a ballot to cast their vote in the District 4 Director election. Incumbent director Brent Bible retained his seat in that election.

I hope you’ll take the time to peruse our Annual Report when you have a moment. Tipmont is your cooperative, and the report offers a comprehensive overview of everything we’re doing on your behalf as well as a list of all the people who make it happen for you.

As always, we welcome your feedback on this event, so please feel free to email me at ceo@tipmont.com, use the Contact Us form or call us at 800-726-3953. And just so you know: We’ve already received feedback from your many well-behaved dogs and we’ll have some treats on hand next time for those good boys and girls.

A Personal Note about the Future

Anyone who’s heard me speak knows I’m a devotee of Marcus Aurelius, a wise Stoic philosopher who emphasized self-discipline and served as Rome’s emperor for 19 years.

Leading a global empire isn’t necessarily equivalent to leading an electric and fiber internet cooperative. But his principles have been a north star over the last 14 years as your president and CEO. One thing I’ve always admired is how Marcus Aurelius viewed time — not as something to hold on to but something to use well and then release with grace.

To that end, I am retiring as Tipmont’s president and CEO, effective April 2, 2027.

Your board is coordinating a comprehensive search for the next individual to lead Tipmont through its evolution as a leading-edge co-op. We’ll share more information as we have it in Indiana Connection and on this website.

In the meantime, leading Tipmont has been among my life’s most defining experiences. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have earned your trust and to have served you.
