Tipmont announces 2024 fiber-optic broadband construction schedule

With the new year comes the next phase of Tipmont’s fiber internet build.

We’re one step closer to ensuring our entire electric service territory has access to better in-home internet. We’re on track to complete our electric service area build by the end of this year.

The areas we’re focusing on throughout 2024 are highlighted in ORANGE on the map, with current timelines and details below.

Connection Conversations

If your address is not included in the 2024 build schedule and you are interested in Tipmont fiber-optic internet, Tipmont wants to hear from you. It’s possible that you live in one of our Connection Conversation zones.

Tipmont’s commitment has always been to ensure every Tipmont member has access to broadband.

As we near the end of our electric-service territory build, many remaining areas — or zones — are already served by an existing broadband provider. Tipmont is referring to these areas as Connection Conversation zones.

As such, we are gauging interest to determine future build plans in Connection Conversation zones.

To learn more, visit cc.tipmont.com. There, you can find information on Connection Conversations, express your interest in Tipmont fiber-optic broadband service, submit speed test data of your existing internet service connection and more.
