Our 2020 Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting is an event I always look forward to. As you may know, its primary purpose is to elect the board of directors that governs our cooperative. But we also use the opportunity to celebrate the membership that makes Tipmont possible. It’s a privilege to visit with so many of you each year and listen to your feedback on how we’re doing.

Our 2020 Annual Meeting was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at Wea Ridge Middle School. Tipmont’s board of directors has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Annual Meeting. The primary reason is the safety of everyone in attendance.

We will share Annual Meeting plans with you soon via our normal communication channels. Your involvement and engagement in our cooperative are critical to our success and we’re eager to find new ways to connect with you. As I’ve written previously, Tipmont’s primary measure of success is your satisfaction.

These have been extraordinary times and no one is left unaffected. While I am discouraged that we had to take this action, I know it is for the right reasons and it is the appropriate decision given all the factors. As always, we welcome your feedback and look forward to the day when we can meet in person again.
