As Tipmont finalizes its transition from membership in Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA), our cooperative will no longer participate in WVPA’s Power Moves program.
Power Moves is a rebate program for upgrades to such energy-efficient home appliances as dual-fuel heat pumps, air-source heat pumps, heat-pump water heaters, geothermal heat pumps and WiFi thermostats.
Tipmont members applying for a Power Moves rebate should note the following deadlines:
- Saturday, May 31: Projects that qualify for a Power Moves rebate must be completed.
- Thursday, July 31: Power Moves rebate applications for those projects must be completed and submitted.
Projects completed after May 31 will not qualify for Power Moves rebates, and Power Moves applications submitted after July 31 will not be considered.
Tipmont is also in the process of revamping its own in-house rebate program for energy-efficient appliance upgrades. A new program is expected to be unveiled later this year.
