Phone line issue with AT&T
UPDATED: 12/26/2025

Members with AT&T phone service are unable to call our main phone number. It appears to be an issue with AT&T as phones with Verizon and other carriers are able to get through. We have notified AT&T, but have no information on a resolution.

Tipmont community grants provide $17,000 to local nonprofits

Powered by the generosity of members like you, Tipmont grant programs continue to improve life in the communities we call home.

In October 2023, Tipmont distributed more than $17,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up and EnviroWatts programs. These grants funded building upgrades, high school band trailer improvements, preservation of public green spaces, emergency and maternal care medical supplies and resources for mothers in the communities we serve.

Operation Round Up

A little change goes a long way when you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:

  • Exterior benches for the CORE Community Center in Frankfort.
  • An automated external defibrillator for emergency use at Lafayette Urban Ministry, whose programs tackle basic human needs and uplift people across greater Lafayette.
  • Materials to support the replacement of the 24-year-old McCutcheon High School band trailer for the McCutcheon Band Boosters.
  • A transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) unit for Transformed Birth Services in Lafayette. The organization aims to fill gaps in maternal health across Tippecanoe County.
  • Diapers, wipes and formula for the Women’s Resource Center of Montgomery County, in Crawfordsville, which assists pregnant women and mothers with young children.

EnviroWatts

Tipmont also supports local projects in sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental improvement through the EnviroWatts program. As a participant, you add just one cent per kilowatt-hour to your monthly Tipmont electric bill — with a $5 monthly maximum.

  • The EnviroWatts program donated $10,000 to the Lafayette Tree Fund to plant trees in public spaces throughout Lafayette.
