Enjoy streaming entertainment without spending a dime

The average American home now subscribes to four streaming services. But did you know several free streaming services can keep you entertained without spending a dime?

The latest series and films aren’t available, but there’s a lot of quality content. There are also ads, hence why it’s free, but ad breaks may outweigh monthly subscription costs.

Most free services also stream in HD. It’s not 4K, but it’s great for casual viewing.

POPULAR FREE STREAMING SERVICES

Pluto TV — 250+ live channels

At the time of posting, popular movies include “Top Gun” and “Forrest Gump,” and shows include “Stargate SG-1” and “NCIS.”

The Roku Channel — Powered by Roku

Available on all Roku devices and some others, this free service currently includes “Happy Feet,” “Bones” and the original “Magnum P.I.”

Crackle — The original free streamer

A free-streaming pioneer, Crackle lacks the library of others but offers unique content and originals you won’t find elsewhere.
