Our community stories include Kassie Coverdale, a professional dog trainer. Kassie’s business, Engineering Change Training, was just starting to take off, when COVID-19 forced all of us to change the way we work and play. Discover how Kassie has managed to adapt her hands-on dog training to a successful online business, while still retaining her passion for the work she is doing.
When he was five years old, Greg Stout’s grandfather gave him a feed sack with model trains purchased at a garage sale. This stoked the engine to a burgeoning hobby that set him on track for a lucrative career, as Greg became the President and Owner of Williamsport-based Stout Auctions, the leading U.S. auction house in the world dealing in toy trains. Greg shares his love of trains, and the impact COVID-19 has had on his life and business.
Natalie Gilbert, owner of Gilbert Farms, shares her story of the rigors of farming life and the challenges of running a 4000-acre family farm in rural Lafayette, while keeping up with changing technology and adjusting to life during a pandemic. Natalie tells us about her farm, and her connection to the community!
