Tipmont Rural Electric Membership Corporation (“Tipmont REMC”) and Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power (“CEL&P”) hereby give notice that on June 5, 2026, a Joint Petition was filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for approval to modify service area boundaries between Tipmont REMC and CEL&P associated with areas located in Section 19, Township 19 North, Range 4 West, situated between Industrial Drive and County Road 100 West near Crawfordsville Indiana, located on U.S.G.S. Facet Map I-15-1 in Montgomery County, Indiana, and Section 28, Township 19 North, Range 4 West, near the intersection of State Road 47 and Memorial Drive near Crawfordsville Indiana, located on U.S.G.S. Facet Map J-15-1 in Montgomery County, pursuant to Ind. Code § 8-1-2.3-6.
The swaps improve operational efficiency and better match who is already serving or is best positioned to serve each property. The changes are limited in scope and will not duplicate facilities or change the service supplier for any existing customer.
