In mid-January, we implemented a change to the way Tipmont members log in to SmartHub. The change was intended to make the log in process a bit quicker by placing the user name and password fields directly on the website, rather than having to go to a separate screen to log in.
We received a significant number of calls and emails from members who had trouble logging in after we made the change. We heard you. Effective February 8, 2017, we have switched back to the separate login screen.
According to our analytics, SmartHub has over 54,000 user sessions each month, both through browsers and the SmartHub app. We’re delighted that so many of our members take advantage of this useful tool, whether you’re paying your pill, making payment arrangements or tracking your energy usage.
Our members are the sole reason we exist. When you speak, we listen; and we heard you loud and clear that you didn’t like this change. We hope you’ll accept our apologies and continue to use SmartHub to manage your relationship with Tipmont REMC.
