Through federal funding, the ACP provides a $30 monthly discount to your Tipmont account for home internet service. Unfortunately, ACP funding is estimated to run out in April 2024.
When those funds run out, participating households like yours will no longer receive a $30 monthly discount for home internet service through Tipmont or any other internet service provider.
Amid budget discussions, it is unknown whether Congress will choose to continue ACP funding. Tipmont has no influence over ACP funding decisions. We are disappointed by these events and the complications they may create for you and your household. If you wish to voice support for the ACP, we encourage you to contact your state and federal government representatives.
Any bill for service sent after Thursday, March 14, will reflect the price without an ACP discount.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a program facilitated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Through federal funding, the ACP offers a $30 monthly discount to eligible households for home internet service.
As an eligible household, you currently receive a $30 monthly discount on the tier of Tipmont internet service you have chosen.
Per FCC notice, the ACP is currently estimated to cease providing the discount starting in April 2024.
The $14.2 billion in federal funding allocated by Congress is estimated to run out in April 2024.

We currently estimate that the last bill with the ACP discount would be sent to you no later than Thursday, March 14.
Your new monthly cost for Tipmont internet service would be $30 more than your current monthly cost.
Alternately, you could choose a new tier / price of service without the ACP discount.
If you want to keep your existing service plan, you don’t need to do anything. All bills sent after Thursday, March 14, would reflect your service plan’s rate without an ACP discount.
