Lynn Beck

Vice Chairman
District 3

Lynn Beck was born in Columbus, Ind., and has been an Indiana resident all of his life. He graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1976 and then attended the University of Indianapolis, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Beck was a banker for 11 years and moved to Lafayette, Ind., in 1989 to begin a career with IBM, where he was employed as a Sales Representative in the Systems and Technology Group for 23 years until he retired in July 2013. Beck is currently employed as an Account Manager for Logicalis.

His wife, Debbie, is a nurse at IU Health in Lafayette. They have three children and eight grandchildren. They attend the Stockwell United Methodist Church.

Lynn and Debbie have been very active over the past several years with the Dave Ramsey program and have led 14 Financial Peace University classes that have helped many families with their finances.

Beck has been a Tipmont REMC Director for many years and has earned Director Gold, which is the highest certification that can be awarded by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.

My goal as director of District 3 is to continue to provide the members of Tipmont with the safest, most reliable service at the lowest cost and to maintain the values upon which the cooperative was founded.
