In July 2026, Tipmont distributed nearly $11,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up program. For the communities Tipmont serves, these funds helped support Parkinson’s disease therapy, high school robotics clubs, transitional housing programs, volunteer fire departments, families of medically fragile infants, and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Operation Round Up
Through Operation Round Up, you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:

- Parts to help build a competition-ready, 120-pound robot for the McCutcheon High School Robotics Boosters in Lafayette
- Fresh Start totes to ensure a safe, clean and dignified beginning on the journey toward stable housing for clients of Pam’s Promise Transitional Housing Corporation in New Richmond
- Equipment to help the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department handle 250 to 300 service calls each year
- Neonatal intensive-care unit packages and memory boxes for Project Sweet Peas to support families of medically fragile infants and those experiencing pregnancy or infant loss
- Expansion of the Wabash Center‘s therapeutic garden program in Lafayette, where adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities enjoy hands-on gardening experiences
