In July 2025, Tipmont distributed nearly $8,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up program. For the communities Tipmont serves, these funds helped support emergency responders and first responders, the health and wellness of birth mothers and their children, and hands-on therapy for young people with disabilities or special needs.
Operation Round Up
In Operation Round Up, you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:
- A QTAC EMS-F rescue skid for Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department to help emergency responders more quickly render aid from an off-road / trail rescue vehicle.
- Providing blood pressure monitors, thermometers, breast pumps and nursing pillows to Transformed Birth Services in West Lafayette, which offers non-medical support for underserved women during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.
- Tower garden therapy for Grant’s House, the youth services hub of Wabash Center in Lafayette — offering young people with disabilities or special needs a hands-on outlet to enhance motor skills, sensory regulation and cognitive development.
- Desktop computers for Washington Township / Buck Creek Volunteer Fire Department to maintain HIPAA compliance.
