In January 2026, Tipmont distributed nearly $7,500 in grants from its Operation Round Up program. For the communities Tipmont serves, these funds helped support emergency responders, access to nutritional programs, and supplies and organizational needs to support foster children and caregivers.
Operation Round Up
In Operation Round Up, you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:
- iPad docks and Chromebook laptops for Food Finders Food Bank in Lafayette to help improve efficiency at the Fresh Market volunteer check-in and during the checkout process
- Thermal imaging cameras for the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department to help firefighters see through smoke or in the dark to more easily navigate a fire, find victims faster and see fire where the naked eye cannot
- A storage and organization system — as well as shoes, socks and undergarments — for The Foster Closet in Lafayette, which supports foster children and caregivers with free clothing and essential care items
