January 2023 Operation Round Up donations

Tipmont distributed nearly $10,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up programs in January to fund renovations at a women’s facility and provide new volunteer firefighter equipment.

Operation Round Up

In Operation Round Up, you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:

  • Kitchen cabinets and countertops for food preparation and safety skills courses at Through the Gate, a Crawfordsville facility assisting women with rebuilding their lives after hardship. These courses will promote personal nutrition, mental wellness, togetherness for families and potential job skills.
  • A new water pump for the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department to replace one that’s at least 30 years old to help the department more effectively extinguish wildland fires
