In April 2026, Tipmont distributed more than $11,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up program. For the communities Tipmont serves, these funds helped support food pantries, charitable thrift stores, ecological preservation, arts performances, and enhanced access for those living with disabilities.
Operation Round Up
In Operation Round Up, you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:- An electric pallet jack for Grace & Mercy Community Food Pantry in Crawfordsville to assist volunteers with moving pallets of food.
- Point-of-sale equipment at thrift stores supporting Millie’s Mission, Inc. of Lafayette to speed up the checkout process and enhance inventory information.
- Hand towels, gloves, herbicide and plant seeds for NICHES Land Trust in Lafayette to help remove invasive plant species and restore ecologically significant woodlands.
- Microphones for the On-Stage Foundation at the Red Barn Summer Theatre in Frankfort to assist with audio clarity during performances.
- Wheelchair ramp materials for Servants at Work in Indianapolis, which will go toward construction of new, ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps for low-income Hoosiers with a permanent or long-term disability otherwise trapped inside their homes.
