April 2025 Operation Round Up donations

In April 2025, Tipmont distributed over $7,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up programs. its Operation Round Up program. For the communities Tipmont serves, these funds helped support summer camp learning activities, assistance to elderly and disabled citizens, music programs for low-income students and intake systems for mental health services.

Operation Round Up

In Operation Round Up, you round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:

  •  Books and supplies for hands-on STEM and literacy learning activities at a summer camp sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Montgomery County.
  • Facility tables and shelving, and an outdoor canopy for events sponsored by Caregiver Companion in Lafayette, which facilitates volunteer assistance with transportation, companionship, lawn care and more for the elderly and disabled.
  • Shopping carts for Millie’s Mission in greater Lafayette, a thrift store whose proceeds fund music programs for low-income students to purchase instruments and clothing for performances.
  • An optical character recognition scanner for Lafayette’s Willowstone Family Services, which helps strengthen mental health for children and adults. The ability to scan identification and insurance cards directly into client files ensures consistent, accurate information.
