Outage map improvements

Tipmont has brought an improved look and new features to its electrical outage map at outages.tipmont.com.

A BETTER VIEW OF OUR SERVICE TERRITORY

The outage map now specifically defines Tipmont's electric service territory. Any location that falls within a gray shape on the map is one to which Tipmont delivers electric service.

This offers a clearer picture of the communities Tipmont serves and also makes it easier to discern outage locations.

a closer look

Thanks to an enhanced zoom feature, you can now view outages at the neighborhood level.

This will help you better understand if your individual service location is affected.

WE'RE ON OUR WAY

Clicking an outage notification for more information will let you know a Tipmont crew has been assigned.

This means a Tipmont line crew is on its way to restore your service as quickly and safely as possible.

updated outage classification

Tipmont must occasionally schedule brief service outages. This helps us to safely implement improvements to our infrastructure and further enhance your service reliability.

These planned outages will now display as yellow on the map.

Unplanned outages (such as those caused by weather events) will display as red.

To view the legend of the map, click the list icon in the upper-right corner.

We hope these outages make it easier for you to stay informed during a service outage.
