As a Tipmont member, managing your notifications in SmartHub will ensure that you receive phone / email updates with information on planned service outages or billing issues.
Here are the steps to manage your SmartHub notifications in your SmartHub online portal.
MANAGING YOUR NOTIFICATIONS THROUGH SMARTHUB
1. Log into SmartHub using your account information.
2. On the SmartHub home page, click Settings.
3. On the Settings page, click Manage Notifications.

4. Choose the applicable email address or phone number.
5. Click which notifications you wish to receive from the following categories:
- Billing
- Marketing
- Miscellaneous
- Service
- Usage
6. You will need to click on each notification preference for each email address and phone number.
WHAT IF YOUR PHONE NUMBER IS GRAYED OUT?
If your phone number is grayed out in the Manage Notifications section, here’s what to do:
1. Navigate to the SmartHub home page.
2. Click Settings and then click Contact Methods.
3. Click the pencil icon for the applicable phone number.

4. You may also have a contact in the system that has not been verified. If that is the case, click “Confirm Contact” under “Additional Contacts on File.”

5. You can then adjust the following notification settings, accept the Terms & Conditions and save.
RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGE
Choose “yes” to receive text messages.
PLACE ON DO NOT CALL LIST
Choose “no” to ensure you receive all information about scheduled Tipmont outages and service improvements.
RECEIVE VOICE CALLS
Choose “yes” and accept the terms to ensure Tipmont can reach you with a live, one-to-one voice call as necessary.

6. Then, return to the Manage Notifications section and follow steps 3 through 5 of Managing Your Notifications Through SmartHub to manage your notifications.
