Tipmont has a new look!

Building an eight-decade (and counting) legacy of member trust and service excellence doesn’t happen by accident.

Since 1939, our dedicated staff has built and supplied essential services for your security, comfort and convenience.

  • You told us to improve electric reliability. In 2022, our electric service was active 99.98% of the time
  • You told us you needed fiber internet, so we built a fiber-to-the-home broadband network.
  • You told us you wanted help to understand streaming. We began our Streaming 101 classes

As it’s always been, Tipmont is your company. We exist solely to help you accomplish your goals, serve your needs and benefit the communities we all call home. We’re proud to introduce a new logo reflecting both this tradition and the forward-thinking innovation that drives us today!

This new logo builds on a recognizable image while creating a fresher feeling and a singular identity as Tipmont.

What’s changing and what’s not changing?

Moving forward, Tipmont will be the name for all electric and internet service across our electric-service area

Meanwhile, the Wintek name will apply to internet service for non-Tipmont members (such as those in our Tippecanoe County build) and for all of our business internet and technology solutions customers.

What’s not changing are any of the services you know and trust. You will still receive safe, reliable electric service and state-of-the-art fiber internet. And we’re still the Rural Electric Membership Corporation that seeks your satisfaction rather than profit.

Why are we changing?

Our mission statement — empower our communities with state-of-the-art essential services — is our promise to you. Our brand is the visual representation of that promise. It represents your expectation whenever and wherever you encounter us.

You’ve told us it’s confusing where one service (electric) begins and another (internet) ends. We hope the new look addresses this confusion in a clear, compelling way. It also matches our contemporary and forthcoming capabilities to continue delivering essential services you know and trust.

When will we see this new look?

The rollout of our new brand identity will be a gradual, ongoing process. Perhaps you’ve seen a few vehicles out and about with the new logo. You’ll also see our new look at our 2023 Annual Meeting

But there are many places to update with our new logo and colors. As responsible stewards of your cooperative, we’re going to take our time replacing our previous logo. Please be patient as we update all of our vehicles, equipment, signs, website and more.
